The Biocare FD2 is a pocket-size Fetal Doppler utilizing Doppler Ultrasound to measure fetal heart rate and output the fetal sound through a built-in speaker. The heart rate is displayed on a color LCD display. By measuring fetal heart rate (FHR), one indicator of fetal well-being can be assessed.
This is a feature-rich, compact, and lightweight hand-held professional-grade fetal doppler. It is suitable for use by obstetricians, midwives, and pregnant women. The Biocare FD2 offers an ergonomic design and a 2.4 in. large color TFT LCD display. The speaker produces a clean, clear sound and there is a heart rhythm indicator on the display as well. It is easy to use and weighs less than two pounds.

The FD2 Fetal Doppler HI-bebe series from Bistos, Inc. has several unique features when it comes to batteries 1) they use readily available 2 AA batteries that last about 360 minutes.
